HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Around this time of year, it seems that people are wearing cuter accessories since it gets so cold it’s hard to dress warmly while you are freezing your A#$ off.  We love headbands.  They are the best accessory to tone your hair down when it’s acting wild or jazz up a simple sweater.  Here are some of our favorites.

For fancier jeweled head bands, we like Anthropolgy’s selection.

The soft toned head bands look amazing with Chelsea’s dark hair.  This is another Anthropology gem.

This beautiful and sparkly head band was hand made by our good friend, Lindsay.  She made a handful of these gorgeous head bands for her Roaring 20’s birthday party and these were laying around her “speak easy” for people to try on and have as a keepsake.  Great idea!

This braided number is much more subtle.  If you pick a head band color close to your hair color it will be a much more simple approach.  Picking the opposite color is more for a stand out piece.  Both work great but wearing a wild outfit and wild head band could put you in the running for a “homeless vs. hipster” contest that you didn’t even know you signed up for.

Head bands are also great because you can wear them any way you please.  You can also find them anywhere.  Our favorites come from Anthropology, Nordstrom and (of course) Forever21.
