Before leaving for Sydney, my Australian friends and travelers told us the one thing we needed to do was the walk from Coogee to Bondi beach. It ended up being one of our best days there!
(Our starting point- Coogee Beach)
(We walked along the coast and saw some beautiful homes as well as these cool mosaic stairs – reminiscent of San Francisco)
(The waves were pretty high that day which was super refreshing as the temperature hit to around 90 degrees!)
(This was a cool find- a very old cemetery along the water)
(I found this oddly cool- a swimming club on the beach. Hmm)
(We made it to the famous Bondi Beach! This area is a lot like San Diego, people running around in bikinis and ice cream for days)
The water was too cold for me to brave but the scenery was spectacular!

Amazing! How long did the walk take? Is there an obvious route to follow? I’ve just moved to Sydney and looking for some nice walking spots!
Oh awesome! We went pretty slow because we were taking so many pictures. All in all, I would say it was an hour and a half (and a very flat, easy walk). There is a very obvious route, it is paved for the most part. If you start at Coogee, there will be a big staircase on your left (if you are looking at the beach) and it will take you straight to the route! You will love it, it’s so pretty!
Oh brilliant thank you, so helpful! I think I will do it on the next dry sunny day and I can finally soak up the rays and not the rain
ha haa
Yes, definitely do it on a nice sunny day! 🙂
The fourth photograph is such a beautiful moment. (:
