With the weather cooling down just a tad in the evenings, I love wrapping myself in a good shawl. You can throw on some jeans, a tank, and some boots to compliment a basic shawl. Of course, I love a good hat as well 🙂
We had a pretty epic food tour throughout our trip and there wasn’t one bad stop. Leaving San Francisco, you never know what kind of food you will encounter on travels because we have such a wide variety of goodness in the city. Jackson Hole definitely had fantastic food everywhere we went thanks to Julia’s guidance on her favorite spots!
Persephone – NOM! The coffee and pastries were SO good.
Nora’s huevos rancheros! Need I say more?
Unreal coffee and pastries from Elevated Grounds.
Teton Thai! We went here after our hike and chowed down, it was SO good. Be careful with your spice levels though, I got a 2 spice level and it still had a pretty good kick.
Amazing local brews like this Jenny Lake Lager from Snake River Brewery!
It’s been hard to keep up with what kind of weather we are having in SF, especially since we are embarking on a heat wave this week. However if you get up early enough, you will feel the crisp ocean air. With the long weekend, Rob and I spent some time enjoying the city while most people decided to leave it. We went down to the local farmer’s market and found these large beautiful sunflowers.

There’s nothing better than a good Summer night in the backyard and Julia’s family had the best Summer backyard. On our last night in Wyoming, we played around on the lawn, enjoyed a BBQ, and had some s’mores and moonshine by the firepit. Their backyard definitely provided some inspiration for my dream ranch I’ve been building in my mind. It was the perfect Summer night!
Spending time in the mountains this past weekend with some great people was extremely inspiring. We biked, we hiked, and we did so much more. I will do a full break out of good eats, trails, and viewing spots. This was one of my favorite days when we hiked Death Canyon. The views were stunning and the weather was perfect!
Coming back from an epic long weekend in Jackson Hole this past weekend was a hard adjustment. The beautiful scenery and weather were just two pieces to the perfect puzzle settled in Wyoming. We were extremely lucky our first few days in town as we saw a small handful of Moose and one bear! Also, of course all of the horses really put the cherry on top.
I didn’t get a photo of the bear we saw but he was swimming through the river in the park which was something I’ve never seen before. The moose were definitely a fun animal to spot though and of course the horses were quite possibly my favorite. Jackson Hole is a photographer’s dream and I can’t wait to share the rest of my photos with you!
