Stella.

DSC_0594This jacket was a hand-me-down that I wasn’t super sure about. Until I placed it over this sleek black velvet dress. It’s pretty shapeless but that is kind of what I love about it, it doesn’t draw attention away from the piece underneath it. While I think it is a bit hard to style, when it works it really works!

DSC_0595I’m pretty excited about this look. I think the black, white and red really creates a classic feel that I just don’t wear often enough. Simple and sleek, I do love this jacket.

Kimono Summer.

It’s safe to say that I LOVE Kimonos.  My obsession started with floral kimonos but when I found this simple black lace kimono from Nasty Gal, I just knew it was the one for me.  I love to stay covered in the sun as much as possible and with the sheer layer of this kimono I feel like I can enjoy the sun and the breeze.

I love all the detailing on it.  However, beware it randomly catches on door knobs and random things every now and then.  I have to be careful because I don’t want it to tear!

I’m a simple girl so I wear it over tanks and also as a swimsuit cover up.  It’s the perfect addition to simplicity because it’s details carry the rest.

Svelte in BlackAll black is a look that I rarely turn to, I have always preferred camel color over black. But now I am really starting to feel all black as it makes me feel slimmed down and it’s so simple to pull an outfit together. Here is a look I feel would be great for a night out!
