I love a good collar because I feel like they instantly dress up a more casual outfit.  I got this awesome boatneck collared top a few years ago from Forever 21 and it’s turned out to be a staple over time.  It’s fun but also can be worn over and over again for different occasions.

I usually love to wear a bold red lip collar with this top but in wearing it for work, I go with a softer pink.

You can also pull your hair up into a braided top knot to add some more attention to the collar.

The chain detailing also adds some fun detail.

Sweet Disposition.

I’ve had this liking for collars in fashion for quite some time but when I saw this collar necklace I had to snag it.  This pink collar really adds some preppy cuteness to an everyday outfit.  This specific piece was a sample but I found so many great collar necklaces on etsy (like this one) in case you are looking for this fun addition!

Another reason to rock the cut-outs.

With Valentine’s Day coming up, why not dress a little extra cutesy?

We’re Ballers, Shot Collars.

Lately we have been liking collars as accessories. The collar necklace is super trendy but we have been loving the way scooped collars have been appearing on understated shirts.

(Brittany has a beaded collar on a flowy shirt which looks great with her hair pulled back)

(My cotton baby dollish tee has a silky collar that adds a little something)

(It can also be paired with a cropped vest for a less childlike look)

Something simple like a scooped collar can always fancy up a simple tee. It looks great layered for Winter, so if you see a collar you like, try it on with other layers like a thick vest or a cardigan.
