Wedding Wear It Again

IMG_7092When you are going to a wedding, it is important to look your best but also feel comfortable for a night of dancing and celebrating! I had been eyeing this dress for months and it finally went on sale at Anthropologie (unfortunately it is sold out now). I justified purchasing a dress I really didn’t need because I have so many weddings this year and it is just perfect to wear to a couple of them because it isn’t white! Surprisingly about 70% of my wedding appropriate dresses are white, so I really need to get my act together.

IMG_7097(It has a subtle snap in the front to keep it all together. This necklace was a gift from my grandparents on my 8th grade graduation- it’s still my favorite)

I feel like Steve Nicks in this dress and that is never a bad thing! Check your local Anthropolgie to see if they still have this dress in stock, it’s such a beautiful color!

Wedding Ready.

IMG_7113You guys know what time of year it is- wedding season! Now, I love a wedding as much as the next person but I have nine this year (including my own). This means I needed to shuffle through mu closet and make sure I have what it takes to be a stylish and appropriate guest to all of these parties. Luckily, I wore a wedding dress to my own in May so that was easy to prepare for and I am in my friend Tasha’s wedding at the end of the month so I just have that one taken care of too! Anthropologie just had their major summer sale and I scored big on some dresses that I knew would be perfect for a few particular weddings, plus I had been eyeing these dresses all spring long! Patience does pay off sometimes ūüėČ

IMG_7114 Unfortunately Anthropologie is sold out of this dress but you can still catch the end of the sale now!

Summertime Linen.

IMG_7150While in London on our honeymoon, Nick and I tried to go into British stores to see how they differed. Well, I will tell you that Harrod’s was a true experience and I got turned around pretty easily in that place! While Harrod’s was a lot of fun, it was Hobb’s that I actually made my only purchase in London at. Nick picked out this dress and it is perfect for these sunny summer days that we have been having in the Bay Area.

Happy Summer!

Long Sleeve Orange Lace.

{{ Dress – in store only @ Diane’s Beachwear, Shoes – TOMs¬†platforms, still on sale!}}

I’m a huge fan of long sleeve dresses because being fair skinned, my skin always seems at risk in the sun. ¬†Sometimes it’s wanted and sometimes it’s not. ¬†The material of this dress is a very thin cotton so even in hot weather it will be extremely nice to have.

The love the light lace detailing around the trim of the dress. ¬†It’s a nice subtle touch.

The dress is short so it’s not work appropriate but it’s perfect for sunny vacations!

Boho Tribal Summer.

{ Dress Рout of stock but similars here, Bandeau (out of cheetah print online, in stock in store) Рhere, Sandals Рfrom the Nordstrom sale here and still on sale!)

In preparation for a warm weather vacation, I’ve been rounding up some cute warm weather outfits. ¬†This is one of my favorite new layered looks and it’s going to be perfect in the hot Caribbean sun. ¬†We leave Saturday and I couldn’t be more excited to go check out a new country and enjoy some good R & R.

The Boho Tribal detailing sold me.

Love how simple and comfortable these sandals are.

Fun detailing on the back!

Adding the cheetah print bandeau adds a nice, fun vibe.

I plan on having perma ocean hair or a big messy bun so this bandeau and dress will help jazz me up a little bit when needed.

Greylin Darling.

I recently went to the Livermore Outlets for the first time with my mom in search of a few new pieces to lift my closet so I could purge some of the old.¬† In my quest to find a perfect fit for a few weddings I will be attending coming up, I found this perfect dress from Greylin.¬† It’s comfortable, cute, and formal enough to wear to nice evening events.

It has a cute high V back cut.

Sequins everywhere.

I paired it with this black sequined clutch that was a Kate Spade score in the clearance section.

I love my find!¬† You can also find it¬† online ūüôā

Can’t Get Enough of Maxi’s!

I should just live in a¬†maxi since they seem to be my main go to when the weather permits.¬† This one is the perfect material that allows for warm and cold weather.¬† I love hats as well so I try to wear¬†one whenever possible to cover¬†my face from the sun.¬† When you love to be outside as much as I do, it’s important to take care of your skin!

Add some flats or flip flops and you are set for the day!

Tribal Maxi.

I got¬†this maxi recently and it’s turned out to be my new favorite go to for week and weekend days.¬† It’s a lightweight material and the colors are so bright, it puts me in an instant good mood.¬† I paired it with a good wide brimmed hat from the Gap and some gladiator sandals.

It’s got a fun racerback!

Adding in some fun gladiators.

An easy outfit for the upcoming warmer days!
