Biking in Napa.

IMG_4741

Rob and I spent last weekend in Napa hanging out after I won a free night’s stay at the Carneros Inn.  I know!  I used to be one of those people that said “I never win anything” until I won this great stay :).  The resort is beautiful and posh so if you’re looking for a fancy weekend away in Napa, this is definitely the spot.  We took the property bikes out for the day when we got there and spent some time pedaling around the back roads.  It was beautiful and it felt great to be cruising around the orange and red vineyards.

Goodbye Fall, It’s Been Nice.

DSC_0440

This weekend we walked through downtown Petaluma and you could have sworn we were in Boston by the color of the trees. I had to stop and take pictures of these gorgeous maples turning from green to red.

It was a beautiful day for primary colors! Now the trees will be leafless and the rain will come, I do love that too!

Autumn Colors.

DSC_0906One of my favorite skirts is rust colored (pictured above), it’s like the new black because it feels really neutral. I really love this rust, navy blue, and white color scheme because it feels so crisp. It’s getting close to the wire and soon I won’t be able to wear skirts without tights because it will just be too cold! Hopefully the sun stays out just a bit longer even though we need the rain in California!

Fall Vibes.

It’s been hard to keep up with what kind of weather we are having in SF, especially since we are embarking on a heat wave this week.  However if you get up early enough, you will feel the crisp ocean air.  With the long weekend, Rob and I spent some time enjoying the city while most people decided to leave it.  We went down to the local farmer’s market and found these large beautiful sunflowers.

Here Comes the Sun.

IMG_0733The sun is finally fading away and we are welcoming the foggy glow of October in San Francisco. I embrace it, I love bundling up in scarves and beanies but we captured one of the last sunny days in this printed ensemble.

Enjoy your weekend!

Fall Crop.

IMG_0761

I’m the last person to rock a crop top but when I found this skirt and top, I just loved them.  They are comfortable and I love love love the print.  It’s also one of the only outfits I don’t feel like a giant when I wear heels because they are concealed by the skirt.

IMG_0762There is also a fun slit down the front.

It seems weird to be still wearing sleeveless tops but with this Indian Summer here in SF, we will take it!

The Perfect Skirt.

IMG_0772I found this skirt a year ago at a now defunct store in San Francisco. It’s such a perfect length (as it falls just below my knees) with a unique print that I find myself wearing it a bit too often. People always ask where I got it, and I wish that store was still in business but I guess this is just one of those fun finds (with no brand tag)!

IMG_0776(It’s easy to pair this with any kind of top. I usually wear a white tee but for fall, I brought out my beige turtleneck)

Happy Fall!

Fall Resort Wear!

IMG_0740

I got these really fun, light pants so I could have a great pair of summer pants that were comfortable to travel around in.  As we are now in Fall, I’m pleasantly surprised how easily I could transform them into a work or night outfit.  They are thin and easy to match up with simple heels or sandals.

I also call them my MC Hammer pants because there is no denying the resemblance.

I also added my pop of neon to this low swoopy backed cotton tank.

Who says when the cool starts to roll in you have to abide by all the rules?  Have a great weekend!
