Body Chain.

IMG_0786

I got this body chain in a sample bag of jewelry and always thought it was cool but didn’t know exactly how it was supposed to be worn without looking too cheesy.  I layered it over a simple black dress and under a chunky sweater for an added touch.  It almost looks like it is part of the dress and now I love it!

I love the detailing of the little arrows.

This could be done with a simple tank, jeans/leggings, and a chunky sweater as well!

Layers of Lace.

IMG_0718My cousin gave me this awesome dusty mauve colored dress a few years ago. The weather in San Francisco has been so fantastically warm that I decided it was finally time to bring it out during the day. Here is how we dressed it to give it more of a casual feel.

Cute Co-Worker Feature: Amy!

IMG_8042
At my job, I’m surrounded by style.  I am always inspired by the women around me because my natural go-to outfit is far from stylish.  Amy is our amazing merchandising intern who is off to the big apple to persue her fashion dreams.  Every day that she was in the office, pushing rolling rack after rolling rack of clothing by, I never noticed the clothes on the rolling racks but always noticed her attention to her outfits.  She looked fabulous every single day so I wanted to feature her as she is about to embark on the next wonderful phase of her life!

Good luck in NY, Amy!

Polka Dot Scare Crow.

I love, love, love being comfortable.  Nothing says it more to me than some good leggings, a sweater, and a hat of the moment (because I love hats).  It’s always good to feel comfortable and also warm enough for running errands or being outside.

With the rain (and snow) on it’s way, it will be time to add layers.  In the meantime, enjoy the sweater weather!

Fun With Primary Colors.

Deep blue looks great with a vibrant red and when you add a pop of yellow as your background, you can’t go wrong!

Fun with Primaries

(Long sleeves with a pleated skirt is a great way to keep some warmth when the weather starts to change)

While I love tights under skirts, a great substitute is a calf-high boot!
