Hello Moto.

Since the weather is so up and down in San Francisco, it’s always good to have wardrobe options.  I picked up this awesome moto jacket at the Nordstrom’s summer sale and its helped me minimize my closet.  I had so many random jackets before that I’ve been able to donate in order to have one go to.

I love that it is a shorter crop.

While the sun is heating up elsewhere, the fog is rolling in in San Francisco.

Winter Wear.

I’d been hearing so many great things about Helly Hansen’s outerwear that I knew my next outerwear jacket was going to be one of theirs.  Since I love to go to Tahoe regularly and genuinely love winter weather, I’ve fallen in love with this jacket!  It’s cozy, warm, and my go to when the temps start to drop.

I love the white zipper detail.

I added these over the knee boots and leggings to stay warm.  I also love the button detailing on these boots.

Just add a beanie and I’m happy.  I love to be bundled when the weather starts to cool down so I love having the right clothes to be prepared to play outside even in the winter!

Neon Trim.

IMG_1360My friends in the retail fashion world sent me off in style before I left my last job.  They sent me off with a bunch of nice cover ups to wear at my new job and this one I love especially.  I’m a very simple person but do love to add color when I can.  This little pop of neon is a nice way to add some variety to my everyday jeans and tank.

The Clash.

The ClashNow that it’s Spring, I have been dabbling with bolder colors and mixing prints as most of Spring is inspired by the blooming flowers.

A simple DIY- pluck some of your favorite sturdy blossoms and put them in a decorative dish filled with water. Happy Spring!

On Me, On You.

Floral jacket
I recently went to Target for toothpaste and oops, I did it again.  I may have ended up with a little bit more than toothpaste.  Like this floral jacket shown above.  I love the pattern (I’ve really been digging any floral prints lately) and cut of it so I swooped it up.  Chelsea and I love sharing clothes but have two different body types.  With an awesome staple piece like this, we can easily share because it compliments both of our bodies in different ways!

(I wear the jacket open because I’m broader up top)

(Chelsea can wrap the jacket because she is much thinner up top)

Both ways the jacket looks cute and allows for any body type to rock.  Next time you head to target to pick up the mundane daily things, don’t forget to wander off path 🙂

Hip To Be Square.

Brittany scored these amazing leggings from Lucca, in a literal last minute dash to a street vendor. I wasn’t sure how we would dress them up but we put together the ultimate hipster outfit that I loved!

I love this fun weekend look, it’s really stylish and even more comfortable. You’ll notice we repeat a few of our favorite pieces, my favorite is this jacket that Brittany picked up a couple of years ago. I love when an article of clothing can we worn in multiple ways.
