I know Mad Men has been all the rage for years now but I finally started watching the show and I gotta say, I love it. The storyline is good but the fashion is amazing. I love watching the styles change through the years and Megan Draper’s mod fashion sense has caught my eye.
(Simple color blocking is the easiest way to pull off a Mod look)
(Black and white looks good on everyone)
(Shoes from Charlotte Russe)
(The ultimate Mod designer, Kate Spade. I am obsessed with everything by her)
(A thick hairband pulls the entire look together)
I love the classic look of a black and white mini dress, it’s easy to put together and looks good any day of the week.

There is something so fun about mixing masculine and feminine pieces. I picked up this jacket from, surprise surprise, Forever21 for some upcoming trips and I absolutely love it. Since the weather has been so unpredictable, I wanted a jacket that I could wear in any weather. This jacket has the right amount of pockets for all the things I grab running out the door in the early hours of the morning heading to work and it has a hood in case the rain starts falling unexpectedly.
(I love beanies so much and have a ton but this one is my newest favorite. My mom gave this to me recently and it’s one of the best beanies I’ve had yet!)
(The gold zippers are what had me sold)
(Love these mod shoes from Forever 21)
Throw on some leggings and call it a day! This is super comfortable and you can interchange boots, heels, or sandals depending on where you are going.
The new rage in nail art is stickers that can last up to 2 weeks on your nail. They are awesome because they don’t chip or damage your nail. I decided to give one a try after finding a sticker that I didn’t think was too loud.
(I began with a light shade of polish- OPI “Mod-ern” and L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Nail Lingerie stickers)
(After painting my nail, I applied the sticker to the top and filed the edges off)
(Voila! The end result is pretty nice. I definitely see sparkles in the sun!)
(Brittany gave these a try from Forever 21, they were only $1.80!)
(They look pretty good! And they have some tiny rhinestones in them to add texture)
All in all, we are digging the stickers! So far it has been 6 days and they have yet to chip or flake! That is more than I can say for some of the professional manicures I have gotten. Some don’t last more than 6 hours!
