Santa Barbara Escape.

I spent last weekend in beautiful Santa Barbara celebrating a good friend’s bachelorette party.  We rented a house in the hills overlooking the ocean and truly had a serene weekend.  The weather was absolutely perfect and we soaked up the sun.

The view from our coffee deck every morning.  We spent almost all of our time at the house outdoors on this patio.

Having the most tasty breakfast on State St here!

Two of the girls rented a convertible and we were cracking up at our convertible hair.  That’s the way to go when you are driving along the coast!

We rented paddle boards from here!  We paddled out in the ocean and came across these adorable seals!

We went to tea/champagne at the Four Seasons Saturday afternoon.  The views were gorgeous.

Everyone got their own pot of tea and a glass of champagne.  We were well stocked on the liquids.

Some delectable desserts.

We spent an afternoon cruising around the Funk Zone which was a very hip, small district of restaurants/breweries/wineries.

Even the bathrooms had awesome art haha.

Beautiful sunsets.

And gorgeous nights.

Santa Barbara was a wonderful place for a bachelorette weekend!

Cabo Beautiful Blues.

image
Since I’d never been to Cabo, there was so much for me to take in.  I loved the options pool, hot tub, and ocean.  All of which I took full advantage of.  With views like this, how can you say no?!  Even just walking by made me want to jump in any body of water.  The blues are so enticing, it would have been extremely hard to not enjoy being waterfront in Cabo.

image
I ate tacos of the above kind for just about every meal.  We stayed at La Villa la Estancia which was not all inclusive but we had a full kitchen to cook as we pleased.

image
We went snorkeling although, jumping off the boat with more fun than fish watching because we didn’t see too many.

image
It was prime time whale season so we got quite the show by some humpback whales!

Spain Update.

IMG_3066OK, the most beautiful place I’ve ever encountered has hit my radar…  The Mediterranean rendered me speechless.  Spending the past week there was the absolute BEST way to end an almost 2 months in Europe.  The water, the weather, and the time spent their with my friend, Shannon, was priceless.  I thought I’d leave you with these photos while I work on organizing the rest of my photos from all over Europe.  I have so many places to share with you about great food, fun things to do, and of course fashion 🙂

NOLA Style

I love little details and quaint colors.  New Orleans is FULL of these things.  I had never been to Louisiana before but absolutely fell completely in love with the place over the past weekend.  I went out there for a friend’s wedding and just found myself wandering aimlessly in every direction I could.  It’s a place that everyone should see in their life for many reasons.  It’s all in the details, isn’t it darling?

(One of the most amazing parts of New Orleans is the music scene.  Performers were everywhere and there’s an area called the musicians village just for recording and a place for musical minds to come together)

(The colors everywhere were brilliant, especially in the stained glass all over town.  These two beautiful pieces were in my friend’s family home but stained glass is in the churches, on the streets, and in homes)

(Beads stay in the trees year round from Mardi Gras)

(The colors of the buildings and shutters were amazing.  I stopped to snap a photo in front of one of my favorites)

(I would like this to be my porch in downtown or uptown New Orleans)

(Have you ever seen midnight in Paris?  That’s what I felt like.  Just wandering the streets <the safe parts of course> and finding beautiful, inspiring things/places.  To the right is a free library!  Take or leave a book of your choice)

(Colorful)

(Of course the infamous trolley and a detailed doorway)

(Classics never get old)

(Beautiful)

(Ceiling decor – I want these in my backyard!)

(I was part of a Second Line Parade for my friend Danielle’s Wedding!  It was a top 5 life experience, so incredible!)

(Drinking in public is completely acceptable and fun in New Orleans)

The colors, the people, the food, the sites, the music, and so much more are all to blame for stealing a piece of my heart this past weekend.  I have many more things to share about my time in NOLA including my food pics while in New Orleans!  What a wonderfully inspiring city, have you been?  What was your favorite thing about New Orleans?
