Structured Sweatshirt.

I purchased these fish printed pants last spring and really wanted to be able to wear them in winter. They are slightly cropped so I figured that I needed to find a warm top to keep me cozy throughout the dropping temperatures. This sweatshirt was on sale and fit the bill!

We Will Never Be Royal.

Royal BlueThere’s something about the color royal blue that has caught our eye. When we were in Tahoe, the yellow leaves and weeds were so brilliant that it illuminated the blue sky. If you don’t have this color in rotation, we think you should as it looks good on all skin tones.

Royal Blue(Blue top from Target, Joe’s Jeans pants, Kate Spade purse)

Royal Blue(The aspen trees were so beautiful and made this blue shirt really pop)

Royal blue is a great color that can be worked into the end of Fall and well into Winter!

Purse and Polish Pairs

We are such fans of colors and convenience.  Sometimes, you run out the door and don’t have time to throw on your new necklace or rings that you wanted to.  However, you can always look fun and stylish by pairing these fun nail polishes with fun purses.  We did some color matching and think these are all great color pairings for Spring!

IMG_7044(We love this hot pink neon polish with the cobalt blue purse from Urban Outfitters)

IMG_7039(This little purse I found in a tiny shop in Italy back in 2007.  I adore it and it’s a special travel memory that’s never gone out of style.  Perfect to pair with a soft, romantic color)

IMG_7040(Subtle rainbow tweed and a bright accent color go great together)

Spring is on it’s way!

Paint Pastel Princess

pastel outfitSpring is on it’s way and with the arrival comes pastel in our closets! I am super excited about this trend because my favorite shades of colors are always light, I think it looks better with my pale skin. See this simple look we put together, I wore something very similar to work the other day!

teal shirt(Shirt- Forever 21, Purse- Urban Outfitters, Earrings- Forever 21)

pastel shirt close up(Snap detail, I love this alternative to buttons!)

Earrings(These earrings are flashy in an understated way- the light blue color tones it down)

Franco Sarto shoes(Shoes- Franco Sarto. These are so comfy and soft, I love the feel of these kitten heels)

outfitThis look is simple and easy to pull off, just don’t be afraid to mix your colors!

The Perfect Stud.

Stud StudioDo you know what can make a simple girl feel like a glamorous woman? A stud. A stud that looks just right can make you feel like you are the most beautiful girl in the world- even when you have just woken up and still have drool stuck to the side of your face. Yes, every girl needs to find her perfect stud and I have found mine- well, a couple actually.

Stud Fountain(I can’t get enough of studs; I have two on me now- my studded purse and studded dress)

Stud Standing

(I have a form fitted dress tucked into a high waisted skirt. I don’t like to wear short dresses so this is a solution that works for me. I think it it makes my frame look longer as well)

Stud Close Up(Light chains are attached to the studs on my shoulders. The detail is a little rough but gentle at the same time. That is what every girl wants in a stud, right?)
