A couple of months ago a few friends and I checked out some cute boutiques in Petaluma, California. It was there that I found these great leggings that come in various colors. They have quickly become a staple in my closet because they spice up any outfit.

A great duster can be the perfect way to add some flare to a basic outfit. They are comfortable, flowy, and very feminine which creates a unique look. We took to the top of San Francisco to catch some wind and watch this duster dance.
(Knee high Sam Edelman boots. He makes the most comfortable shoes ever)
(This duster has a beautiful painted design, it has a handmade feel to it)
This is a great look for the weekend, when you want to dress up a simple long sleeved top on a chill winter day. Living in the city, we are always looking for great long sweaters and dusters!
My grandma gave me this great red shawl a few years ago and I just love it. There’s nothing more cozy than a good sweater, beanie, and some boots. Not to mention, this bright color really livens up the winter.
I love the cozy turtle neck on the shawl.
Nothing like being comfy when the temps drop!

I got this body chain in a sample bag of jewelry and always thought it was cool but didn’t know exactly how it was supposed to be worn without looking too cheesy. I layered it over a simple black dress and under a chunky sweater for an added touch. It almost looks like it is part of the dress and now I love it!
I love the detailing of the little arrows.
This could be done with a simple tank, jeans/leggings, and a chunky sweater as well!
In San Francisco, September and October are the warmest months of the year. It gets warm enough for skirts and dresses during the day but brisk enough at night to pull out thick sweaters. It’s my favorite time for many reasons; the air is crisp, everything smells like pumpkin, and I get to pull out my warm toned clothing.
(Sweater with gold button detail- Tory Burch)
(Burnt Sienna skirt- Anthropologie)
(Wedge Sandals- Vince Camuto)
This navy and deep orange pair is a great combo for the Fall and Winter seasons ahead.

With the CA weather whacky as ever, it seems we’ve skipped winter. This makes me sad because I love snow and winter but like with anything else, we roll with what we’ve got and I can’t complain because it’s been beautiful out. It’s time to pack up that bag and hit the road for the weekend.
(Forever 21 sweater)
(Steve Madden overnight bag. This is my favorite weekend warrior!)
(Forever 21 cut out booties)
(Express skinny boot cuts denim)
What are your plans for the weekend?
I love love love cable knit! The chunky sweater pattern is my absolute favorite for winter and I have been wearing it ever since the temperature started dipping. I know most people think cable knit can be frumpy but I think it is a lot of fun if updated with a little flare!
(One of my favorite sweaters purchased a few years ago at Anthropologie)
(Add in a chunky necklace to add a little color)
(Chunky infinity scarf warms up the simplest outfits)
(Love my new sweater from Anthropologie, look at those sleeves)
Stay warm and fashionable this winter with my favorite, cable knit!

I recently got this new sweater from Urban Outfitters and I just love the use of primary colors here. I put together a tomboy look by pairing it with some simple blue boyfriend pants. I love how simple and cozy this outfit is, it’s also perfect for work.
(Boyfriend pants and belt, Target)
(Wrap around watch, Charlotte Russe)
(Sweater Forever 21, Skirt Forever 21, Tights Nordstrom, Booties Luxury Rebel)
One of my favorite things to do is wear skirts when the temperature starts to drop. It doesn’t make much sense but I just want to find any reason to pull out a pair of tights, they are more comfortable than pants and look so much more sleek with shoes. I liked pairing this grey pearl sweater with a flared striped skirt because it feels simple but has a lot of character.

Do you ever look at articles of clothing and say those aren’t supposed to go together but they do so well? I’m not sure if I ever get it right but from time to time when I throw two completely different patterns together, they actually work. I’m loving large cozy socks and thick knits to keep me warm.
(Forever21 sweater and sweater skirt)
(Steve Madden have great boots for all occasions. These cut-out heeled boots are on my wish list! The socks are thick thigh highs from Forever21 scrunched down.)
I say, if you feel good in it then wear it. Whatever it may be, including mis-matching prints 🙂
