Moto Leggings.

DSC_1032A couple of months ago a few friends and I checked out some cute boutiques in Petaluma, California. It was there that I found these great leggings that come in various colors. They have quickly become a staple in my closet because they spice up any outfit.

Duster Dance.

DSC_0536A great duster can be the perfect way to add some flare to a basic outfit. They are comfortable, flowy, and very feminine which creates a unique look. We took to the top of San Francisco to catch some wind and watch this duster dance.

DSC_0559This is a great look for the weekend, when you want to dress up a simple long sleeved top on a chill winter day. Living in the city, we are always looking for great long sweaters and dusters!

Body Chain.

IMG_0786

I got this body chain in a sample bag of jewelry and always thought it was cool but didn’t know exactly how it was supposed to be worn without looking too cheesy.  I layered it over a simple black dress and under a chunky sweater for an added touch.  It almost looks like it is part of the dress and now I love it!

I love the detailing of the little arrows.

This could be done with a simple tank, jeans/leggings, and a chunky sweater as well!

Fall Fantastic.

IMG_0814In San Francisco, September and October are the warmest months of the year. It gets warm enough for skirts and dresses during the day but brisk enough at night to pull out thick sweaters. It’s my favorite time for many reasons; the air is crisp, everything smells like pumpkin, and I get to pull out my warm toned clothing.

Weekend Warrior.

IMG_7798
With the CA weather whacky as ever, it seems we’ve skipped winter.  This makes me sad because I love snow and winter but like with anything else, we roll with what we’ve got and I can’t complain because it’s been beautiful out.  It’s time to pack up that bag and hit the road for the weekend.

Cable Knit Lux

I love love love cable knit! The chunky sweater pattern is my absolute favorite for winter and I have been wearing it ever since the temperature started dipping. I know most people think cable knit can be frumpy but I think it is a lot of fun if updated with a little flare!

Primary Sweater.

Primary Sweater.I recently got this new sweater from Urban Outfitters and I just love the use of primary colors here. I put together a tomboy look by pairing it with some simple blue boyfriend pants. I love how simple and cozy this outfit is, it’s also perfect for work.

Stripes and Pearls.

Stripes and Pearls(Sweater Forever 21, Skirt Forever 21, Tights Nordstrom, Booties Luxury Rebel)

One of my favorite things to do is wear skirts when the temperature starts to drop. It doesn’t make much sense but I just want to find any reason to pull out a pair of tights, they are more comfortable than pants and look so much more sleek with shoes. I liked pairing this grey pearl sweater with a flared striped skirt because it feels simple but has a lot of character.

Grey Patterns.

IMG_4970Do you ever look at articles of clothing and say those aren’t supposed to go together but they do so well?  I’m not sure if I ever get it right but from time to time when I throw two completely different patterns together, they actually work.  I’m loving large cozy socks and thick knits to keep me warm.

I say, if you feel good in it then wear it.  Whatever it may be, including mis-matching prints 🙂
