Our very first day in New Zealand was spent in the South Island in Queenstown. Completely majestic, it sits on a pristine lake surrounded by beautiful mountains and hills. It was a bit chilly that day, the clouds were rolling in quickly and it began to drizzle.
(On our walk around the lake, there were dozens of benches inviting us to take in the scenery)
(When we arrived, the clouds started moving towards us rapidly, bringing the rain)
(That’s it, tiny Queenstown)
(We found this great bridge on our walk)
(A tiny little duck not far from his family)
Queenstown was my favorite city that we visited on our trip. It has a lot of fun activities for tourists and is filled with foreigners looking to live somewhere beautiful even if only for a few months.

We believe in wearing your favorite piece over and over again because they are just clothes and it is fun to reinvent in outfit in a new way. But sometimes, there is that one skirt that just looks best with a basic tank and this is that skirt for me. You have seen it before here but I chose to wear it again on a crazy warm day in Sydney (think 95 degrees)! We were walking through the Botanical Gardens to the Opera House, this was a great day!
(The view isn’t too bad, is it?)
(This hat went through a lot on this trip, it flew off my head on a boat but was retrieved thankfully because it was my saving grace against the sun)
(A bit washed out but there is the Opera House behind us)
Sydney is such an active city, everyone is running, jogging, or walking around the city. It was a beautiful day and we were so happy to soak in the sites!

Spring is here and that means hot pink work out clothes are where it’s at! I mean, I don’t work out too much but when I do, I like to make sure I am wearing something that stands out.
(Test your shoes out and make sure they have a spring in their step!)
(Hot pink Reebok’s are a must!)
(Always make sure you get a good stretch in)
The weather is finally starting to get warm and it’s a great time to soak up the sun anyway you want to. Whether it’s a long walk or a short run, it’s important to get that vitamin D!
This weekend was full of clear blue skies and my friend and I wanted to take advantage of that so we headed South about 10 minutes to a sleepy beach town called Pacifica. It is a popular spot for surfing and has the most amazing Taco Bell you will ever see, it literally sits on the beach and has a walk-up window for people with sandy feet! We didn’t eat there but we did take a nice walk up to the top of Mori Point to get a great view of the beach. I lived there for a few months and would often walk up on my own to sit and relax. Sometimes the sound of the waves can bring a lot of peace to your mind.
We are trying a new way to present our photos via Slideshow. Please let us know if you like it or prefer the scrolling way we had them placed before!
