I have lately been scoring some great finds through second hand venues and I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you. Firstly, where I live we have a handful of great consignment spots and I have gotten a few things for $10-$20 that would have cost upwards of $200 new, it’s insane. Secondly, if I am looking for something in particular, my new go-to is the Poshmark app. I’ve actually been selling things as well, it’s kind of like a clothes swap that I am super into.
(Loeffler Randall booties found on Poshmark)
(Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C. bag- found on Poshmark)
(I LOVE this Paige acid wash denim jacket, it’s got a great side zip that can make any outfit instantly cooler)
(I just got this dress from Zara and it is super soft. It’s great because I can wear it even when the weather isn’t too warm)
I’m all in for second-hand scores mostly because I get bored with clothing and want to switch it up which can be an expensive habit- but it is a fraction of the cost when I am taking it off of someone else’s hands. Let me know some of your favorite second hand finds in the comments below!
I found this great olive colored utility jacket at Zara a couple of weeks ago. Surprisingly, it goes with just about every color I have in my closet and is a great piece to pair with dresses and shirts alike. The snaps are what caught my eye, I found them unusual and I am trying to acquire pieces that don’t look anything like what I already have (which is a lot harder than it sounds).

(Bee sequined top- H&M)
(This would actually be an easy DIY. If you head to your local fabric store they have great appliques that you can sew on to any piece of clothing. This bee has some beading detail that could also be simple to replicate)
I feel like this shirt is a lot of fun and exemplifies my personality well. I love bees (well, not real bees just bees for fashion purposes) and all things related to honey so I knew I had to have this top!
I am constantly being inspired by pieces that I see put together on Pinterest. One look that I have loved for about a year now is preppy with a bit of grunge. Pairing this tartan print blazer with ripped jeans works great!
(Blazer- Zara, Top- James Perse)
(Jeans- Gap, Shoes- Vince Camuto)
This look would work in the office (a San Francisco office at least)!

On my very first trip to New York ever, I made it into a very packed Zara in SoHo and found this awesome dress. I absolutely love the print and mod feel, not to mention the cool middle pockets that I usually only find on sweatshirts. Another fun fact about this dress, Lena Dunham was recently wearing it while shooting the new season of Girls.
(Perfectly paired blue chandelier earrings- Charlotte Russe. Notice the boxy sleeves, I love these!)
(Awesome pocket detail and a playful coral costume ring)
(My new obsession, these slip on flats- Franco Sarto)
This is a great dress to slip on when the weather starts to heat up. The cut is simple but unique and I always gravitate towards anything that flares a bit. It’s a great dress for my build!

Now that it’s Spring, I have been dabbling with bolder colors and mixing prints as most of Spring is inspired by the blooming flowers.
(Top- Forever 21, Skirt– Anthropolgie, Booties– Lucky Brand, Jacket (above)- Zara)
(I love the unique pattern of this soft pencil skirt)
A simple DIY- pluck some of your favorite sturdy blossoms and put them in a decorative dish filled with water. Happy Spring!
